An hotel and expanded gaming floor to add around 250 additional video lottery terminals are planned for Miami Valley Gaming and Racing in Ohio, US.



The location is between Dayton and Cincinnati and currently has 1,900 VLTs, a racing simulcast centre and the Miami Valley Raceway, a harness racetrack.

The location is owned jointly by Churchill Downs and Delaware North Gaming and Entertainment and the $100m project will be completed towards the middle of 2021. The hotel will have nearly 200 rooms, a restaurant and a 1,000-car parking garage. The expansion to the gaming floor will cover 10,000s.ft.

The venue employs over 450 staff and since it opened in 2013 it has delivered $270m in gaming taxes to the Ohio Lottery and $83m to the Ohio Harness Horseman’s Association.
