The former president of MGM Interactive, Scott Butera, has joined the new sportsbook operator Vigtory, based in the US. Butera becomes the company’s joint CEO with founder Sam Rattner.



Butera brings 30 years of experience in the operating field to Vigtory, from his time with casino, sports betting and igaming companies. They include not only MGM Interactive, and president of Trump Entertainment Resorts, but time as commissioner of the Arena Football league, president of Foxwoods Resort Casino, CEO of Tropicana Entertainment, Cosmopolitan Resort and Metroflag Management.

Said Butera: “While US sports betting and interactive gaming is off to a tremendous start, there are countless opportunities in underserved sectors.”

Vigtory is currently finalising deals with professional sports leagues and media outlets and is securing market access in multiple jurisdictions across the US.
