Entain to exit unregulated markets

Entain, the UK owner of Ladbrokes and Coral betting shops, said yesterday that it would accelerate its exit of unregulated markets by the end of 2023.

The company said that it had decided that it would concentrate only on those markets that are regulated.

Entain is also the owner of online betting companies bwin and partypoker. It said that the impact of the policy on its bottom line would be small.

Entain is now licensed in over 30 countries.
