A new retail sportsbook is to open at Golden Nugget Casino Lake Charles in the US state of Louisiana in conjunction with DraftKings.
A variety of betting markets will now be available to Louisiana adults across professional, collegiate and other sports leagues inside the casino. An online sportsbook will follow later.
DraftKings’ sportsbook will be the largest in Lake Charles, operating in the Blue Martini bar with six ticket cages to place bets and 30 self-service kiosks.
There are plans for a permanent, 100,000sq.ft sportsbook and lounge with 300 seats, odds boards and huge screen TVs to open next summer.
