Armenian multi-channel sportsbetting and casino platform provider Digitain has announced that it is set to expand its presence across Europe after being granted a business-to-business supply license by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).

The Yerevan-headquartered innovator used an official Tuesday press release to detail that the new license is due to allow it to distribute its solutions to a plethora of fresh tier-one business-to-consumer iGaming operators regulated by the Maltese authority.

Extensive coverage:

Digitain has been exhibiting at this week’s International Casino Exhibition (ICE) London extravaganza and revealed that it already held over 100 strategic commercial partnerships encompassing some 7,500 leagues in 65 sports for well in excess of 3,000 sportsbetting markets.

Growing prominence:

Suren Khachatryan, Chief Commercial Officer for Digitain, used the press release to declare that the receipt of the ‘critical gaming supply licence’ from the MGA will allow his firm to further develop ‘access to a key market’ and further promote ‘a market-leading portfolio that received a host of prestigious industry awards last year.’

“As well as being an important milestone for the company, the news affords more operators the chance to take advantage of our best-in-class sportsbook and casino technology. From highly advanced turnkey and white-label solutions to our premium quality in-house game collection, we’re on track to deliver another record-breaking year.”

Romanian recognition:

Digitain explained that its receipt of the Malta license comes less than two months after it was given the green light to further expand into the iGaming market of Romania via the receipt of a class-two certification from the Romanian National Gambling Office (ONJN). It stated that this earlier authorization covered ‘its full range of services’ and gave it the ability to introduce its ‘entire product portfolio and software’ including an innovative random number generator from ID Quantique to a host of local retail and digital operators.
