Crown Resorts has now permanently dipped out of the junkets market.

It took a decision in late September to suspend its activities with junket operators while it reviewed that sector of its market. Today the Australian-based company has announced that it will permanently cease to be involved.

This decision is subject to consultation with the gaming regulators in Victoria, Western Australia and New South Wales.

“Crown will only recommence dealing with a junket operator if that junket operator is licensed or otherwise approved or sanctioned by all gaming regulators in the states in which Crown operates,” a company statement said.
