Codere on Mexican football club’s shirts

Major Latin American gambling group Codere will have its logo on the shirt of Club de Futbol Monterrey Rayados of Mexico, following a new deal.

The arrangement will also give the Spanish-based Codere a range of marketing initiatives as the main sponsor of the club.

Monterrey plays in the MX League that already has a relationship with Codere as official sponsor – a title that now elevates to Official Betting Partner that gives the company the right to have its name on the players’ shirts.

The Mexican football season begins on July 23 and the first use of the new shirt logo was this week during a club friendly match.
