Casino revenue in Clark County, Nevada, was a record $1.179bn in March thanks to growth in all areas of the market.

The state rose 26.83 per cent to $1.355bn and the Las Vegas Strip grew 48.84 per cent to $746.233m in March. Las Vegas’ results came with similar table hold for blackjack and baccarat this year and last.

March’s results marked 13 straight months of plus-$1bin in revenue for the state. Sports betting handle increased 34.64 per cent to $862.76m.
