Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma unveils Choctaw Landing plans

In the United States and the federally-recognized Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma has reportedly announced that the $165 million casino resort it is building in southeastern Oklahoma has been given the name of Choctaw Landing.

According to a Saturday report from the Tahlequah Daily Press newspaper, the tribe detailed that the finished 200,000 sq ft facility to be located near the scenic McCurtain County community of Hochatown is scheduled to open before the end of next year featuring a casino complete with a selection of some 600 slots as well as eight gaming tables. The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma purportedly declared that the designation for its eighth such enterprise in ‘The Sooner State’ reflects a hope that guests will ‘have arrived at a place that feels like home’ and be able ‘to touch base and recharge for their next adventure.’
