Casinos in Malaysia and Singapore are implementing measures for guests and staff to prevent further outbreaks of the coronavirus.

Genting installed temperature screening devices at Resorts World Genting in Malaysia and implemented intense cleaning programmes in rooms and other public areas. No one has had the virus at the property, though there have been seven cases of the virus in Malaysia.

Genting Singapore and Las Vegas Sands say they have increased the frequency of disinfection at their Singapore casinos. LVS has installed temperature screening devices at Marina Bay Sands and has trained staff for viral response and mitigation efforts.
