A new local regulation removing a US$100 limit on single bets and approving more casino games has been applauded by a casino in the US state of Colorado.
The Monarch Casino and Resort at Black Hawk has praised local voters and the city council for approving the amendment to local regulations on Monday.
The approval permits unrestricted bet limits and brings in baccarat, keno, pai gow and other games for live tables. The new rules will go into effect on May 1, 2021.
John Farahi, CEO at Monarch, said: “We recently began phased opening of our new Monarch Casino Resort Spa Black Hawk, a significant investment in the local community.
“The passage of the amendment represents a significant advance for the entire gaming industry in the city. The changes to casino game regulations will bring the city on a par with other gaming destinations and improve the appeal of our market for guests.”
