The move has been on the cards for some time, but the Covid-19 pandemic has increased awareness of the issue. Now the Nevada Gaming Commission has removed the prohibition on the transfer of funds from a financial institution to a gaming device.
Now an electronic wallet will be employed to house a player’s stake, rather than directly from a bank account. Several payments specialist companies have been working on this sector of the gambling industry, reports the news service.
