Camelot may not be taking its removal as UK National Lottery operator lying down – the company is taking legal advice.
Britain’s Daily Telegraph reported that the company, that has run the lottery since its inception in 1994, is understood to be working with major law firm Linklaters on plans to challenge the decision in the High Court.
Earlier this week it was announced by the Gambling Commission that it is regarding the Sazka subsidiary Allwyn as preferred bidder to take over the operation of the lottery when the current licence expires in 2024.
