Cambodia’s NagaWorld integrated resort casino in the capital, Phnom Penh, will reopen for business on Wednesday, following the shutdown forced by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Phnom Penh Post reports that a certificate of clearance had been obtained by the owners NagaCorp Ltd.

The group, which is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Market, has a monopoly licence for the capital city. Other casino operators in Cambodia would be permitted to reopen provided that they can satisfy the authorities that they can comply with health protocols.

Everyone entering NagaWorld, whether employee or guest, will have to wear a face mask; no more than three people would be permitted at a table at one time and capacity in the slots area would be reduced by 50 per cent.
