Caesars Entertainment is to sell its Belle of Baton Rouge to Casino Queen Holdings in the US.
The company announced yesterday that due to the amended lease agreement with Gaming and Leisure Properties, the Baton Rouge venue will be removed from the master lease and the rent payments to GLP will remain unchanged and GLP will retain ownership of the real estate of Belle.
The transaction is expected to close in mid-2021, subject to regulatory approvals.
