The Caesars Sportsbook has been given official approval by the New York State Gaming Commission with a mobile sports betting licence.

As a result the online and mobile sports betting platform is expected to make its appearance in the state shortly.

Said Tom Reeg, CEO of Caesars Entertainment: “We have been looking forward to bringing mobile sports betting to New York, a state with more than 19 million people and will be the biggest mobile sports betting market in the country.”

Caesars Entertainment already has a retail casino and sportsbook footprint in this part of the US, notably at the Oneida Nation’s three casino properties.
