An apparently successful Memorial Day weekend, given visual evidence by a 26-mile-long traffic jam along I-15 on Monday as Californians headed home, boosted Las Vegas.
Additionally, visitation by free and independent travelers is up 55.6 per cent for the next 30 days, 50 per cent for the next 30 to 60 days and 45.8 per cent for the next 60 to 90 days, Chad Beynon of Macquarie reported. April rose 54.2 per cent year-over-year and 23.5 per cent over March.
Room rates quoted to free and independent travelers along the Las Vegas Strip are flat for the week ending June 26 versus the same week in 2019, according to the weekly survey from Joe Greff of JP Morgan.
