It has been a good year for BMM Testlabs’ South African business, with growth of over 20 per cent in 2021.
The big international gaming test lab and product certification consultancy’s Kirk White (pictured), EVP and general manager for APAC and Africa, said: “2021 was an excellent year for BMM in South Africa, servicing both regional and European customers.
“As the premier test lab in the region, demand is continuing into 2022, as local and international customers require our specialised technical and regulatory compliance knowledge. Importantly, we are also providing ongoing support to the emerging sports betting market in South Africa.”
Zeena Rossouw (pictured), vice-president sales and operations, SAF, commented: “Strengthening our team to support the increased demand has been key to our significant growth over the past year. BMM’s igaming, casino management systems, and sports betting testing services are currently dominating the South African sports betting market. BMM is the only fully accredited laboratory in South Africa for penetration and vulnerability testing and we have several qualified engineers able to service clients in these critical specialties.”
Rossouw concluded: “As the world recovers from pandemic-mandated closures, our South African management team looks forward to meeting more of our clients face-to-face and attending events such as the recent sports betting and igaming conference in Tanzania. We are thankful for our clients and the support they have shown us throughout 2021. We look forward to continuing our journey with them in 2022 and beyond.”
