Aristocrat Leisure reported an 81 per cent increase in net profit after tax for the year ended September 30, reaching a total of US$628.5m.
Revenue amounted to $4.7bn, up 14.4 per cent, while EBITDA was $1.5bn, up 43 per cent compared to the prior year period. Eighty per cent of its revenue was derived from recurring sources.
The results were supported by stronger than expected consumer sentiment and economic conditions in the USand the ANZ region, it said.
The company noted that although venues have mostly reopened, international travel restrictions have continued to impact operators and have significantly reduced capital expenditure budgets.
