BetMGM sportsbetting brand inks inaugural pair of Arizona partnerships

In the United States and the BetMGM retail and online sportsbetting brand has announced that it will soon be launching into Arizona courtesy of deals with the Gila River Indian Community and the Arizona Cardinals franchise of the National Football League (NFL).

The New Jersey-based undertaking used an official Monday press release published by the Associated Press news service to detail that the arrangement with the Gila River Indian Community is to see it open land-based sportsbooks at a trio of casinos operated by the federally-recognized tribe’s Gila River Hotels and Casinos enterprise. The operation explained that this relationship concerning the Wild Horse Pass, Lone Butte and Vee Quiva properties could soon be further expanded once the western state fully implements April legislation that legalized online sportsbetting.

BetMGM was born via a July of 2018 partnership between American land-based casino operator MGM Resorts International and British iGaming behemoth Entain, which was formerly known as GVC Holdings. The brand now run by the duo’s Roar Digital joint venture furthermore disclosed that the new alliance with the Arizona Cardinals is to see it premiere retail sportsbooks inside the NFL team’s 63,400-seat State Farm Stadium home by the end of next summer.
