Crown Resorts’ Sydney, Australia, VIP venue is set to open three months ahead of schedule at Christmas 2020, according to company founder James Packer.
Packer made the comments while touring the construction site of the multi-billion Barangaroo development yesterday. Construction is now around 75 per cent complete, with 55 floors in place.
Packer declined to comment on ongoing probity checks relating to Crown’s sale to Melco Resorts founder Lawrence Ho, as well as an inquiry into alleged corrupt practices of the company, but said he would be willing to give his full cooperation into investigations if required.
