Bally’s casino reopens in Vegas

One of Las Vegas’ most familiar locations, Bally’s, will reopen on July 23, owners Caesars Entertainment has announced.

It will mean that all of the group’s properties on the Las Vegas Strip will have reopened except for Planet Hollywood. The Cromwell and Rio, in the same group, also remain closed.

The Las Vegas Sun quotes Caesars CEO Tony Rodio, as saying: “We have capped hotel occupancy at our other reopened Vegas properties and believe that opening another casino resort, rather than increasing hotel occupancy caps, better supports our enhanced focus on health and safety at this time.”

Casinos in Las Vegas began to reopen last Saturday. Caesars has already opened Caesars Palace, the Flamingo, Harrah’s, Paris Las Vegas and the gaming floor at the Linq.
