Backloader a winner for GeWeTe

German cash handling specialist GeWeTe has launched a Cash-Center Backloader for sports betting shops that is already becoming a best seller, said the company.

CEO Aristidis Tsikouras (right in the photograph) reported that the Backloader had received “enormous positive response” from the sector.

He quoted Oddsline, a long-time customer, who said that the backloader allows automated deposits and payouts, freeing up staff capacity. The company also noted that it simplified cash handling and stored cash securely behind the scenes.

“As a through-the-wall system, it offers a 24/7 service to our customers, even outside of betting shop opening hours,” said managing director Daniel Speyer (left in the photograph).

Sports betting customers can have their winnings paid out at the Cash-Center Backloader by entering their betting slip or customer card. They can also make cash deposits to their customer card.

The cash-handling terminal is equipped with a high-resolution, outdoor-proof 15ins touchscreen, has a capacity of 2,900 banknotes and processes all types of coins. In addition, the machine offers a wide range of features to meet all the cash-handling requirements of sports betting shops.
