Ardent takes over Casino Davos shares

Germany’s Stadtcasino Baden Group is to sell its holding in Casino Davos in Switzerland.

The shares will revert to the previous partner, the Belgian Ardent Group. The deal is subject to regulatory approval, but all of the staff will be retained by Ardent.

Previously, ownership was split between Stadtcasino Baden with 46 per cent, Ardent with 44 per cent and the Davos Destinations organisation with 10 per cent.

Ardent was particularly active in developing the online casino777.ch in Switzerland via Davos, but its further development led to a separation of ideas and has evolved into Ardent taking over the Stadtcasino shareholding.

The German group will now concentrate on the further development of its own software solution within the Gamanza subsidiary and focus on further projects of its own.
