The independent investigation into SkyCity Entertainment Group and its casino (pictured) operations in South Australia, has begun.
The state’s Office of the Liquor and Gambling Commission has opened submissions this week into the Adelaide venue of the company, following similar probes into casino activities in neighbouring New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia.
Both Crown Resorts and Star Entertainment came under investigation in the other states and Crown was subsequently dubbed unsuitable for a licence, but has now been sold off.
In the case of Adelaide, interested parties have been invited to submit their views to the Commission. It has named a retired Supreme Court judge to lead the review.
