On August 28, 888poker will kick off the ChampionChip Games, a unique series offering players low buy-ins to quality online poker tournaments. The series runs through September 6 and offers plenty of action, including a $200,000 Main Event with multi flights. Check out more about this upcoming online series below.

Details of the ChampionChip Games

The series was designed with the everyday online poker player in mind, offering micro to low-stake buy-ins. Everyone is welcome to compete and a total of $500,000 in guaranteed prize money is up for grabs. The series begins with six events in one day, though only three are numbered. Players can compete in Triple Threat options for $11 and $22 buy-ins with $15,000 and $20,000 up for grabs.

Event #1 is the Opening Ceremony, with a $33 buy-in and $30,000 in cash prizes. Event #2 is titled Sailing and has a much lower buy-in at $7.70 and a smaller $7,700 prize pool. Event #3 is the last one for the opening day, offering a High Jump R&A affair with a $1 buy-in and $2,000 in prize money.

As far as Main Events go, the series will feature a micro version, a mini, and a standard main. The Micro Main Event will have a $5.50 buy-in and provide $15,000 in prize money. The Mini Main Event has a slightly higher buy-in of $16.50 and a prize pool of $20,000.

For the 888poker Main Event, players must pony up $60 to compete. This tournament offers the largest prize pool of the series with $200,000 up for grabs. Players can log in to 888poker today to deposit funds and be prepared to compete in one of the many online poker events on the schedule.
