Harrah’s New Orleans is to have a major facelift by Caesars Entertainment.

The $325m transformation will be complete by 2024, said the company. A new hotel tower, redesigned interior and exterior features and new F&B offerings are part of the plans.

The hotel tower will hold 340 new rooms and will be built above the existing casino and an area on the second floor of the casino that is currently unoccupied will be redeveloped.

The decision follows the 2019 extension to the venue’s operating contract that takes it forward to 2054.
