Thirty of the 41 gaming and racing properties in the portfolio of Penn National Gaming in Pennsylvania, US, have now reopened.
This, it said, represented 70 per cent of the regional gaming holding across 19 states of which 13 are now back operating. The latest resuming of business came on Friday when its four Ohio venues were reopened and the Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course also opened its doors again.
The largest regional gaming operator in the US, Penn is working with a wide variety of safety restrictions and anticipates more states coming on line in the very near future.
In total, Penn operates 50,000 slots and 1,300 table games. It also has 8,800 hotel rooms.
